GSDLN Hosts the Seacoast Science Center Presentation of Visit Great Bay and learn about Horseshoe Crabs
Date: 11/19/2008
Time: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M.
The horseshoe crab is a living "fossil"—it has not changed in over 200 million years! In this program you will learn that this fascinating creature is not a crab, has blood, and is used in medical research. You will see images of horseshoe crabs mating, eggs and newly-hatched young. This program will also feature the habitat Great Bay Estuary.
