GSDLN Hosts the Seacoast Science Center Presentation on a Whale of a Tale

Wednesday, May 20, 2009
1:00 - 2:00 pm

The Seacoast Science Center is offering a series of programs in conjunction with GSDLN. These distance learning programs will be geared for middle school students and presented by Perrin Cothran Chick, Education Director of the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH. Interactive participation will compliment content information. All programs will be broadcast from the new Gregg Interactive learning studio as an Interactive Videoconference via the GSDLN.

Program Title: Whale of a Tale

Join the SSC as we immerse you in a Dr. Seuss style story. The world of whales will be explored through activities, videos and characters in the Whale of Tale story. This story will introduce the Center’s newest exhibit, the full skeleton of a Humpback Whale. Students will learn about migration, whale behaviors, and how whales are similar to humans.
